“Wow what a fabulous place, it’s in a beautiful location with stunning views of the mountains and gorgeous gardens and outside relaxing, dining area. The room was fantastic, very large with a huge comfortable bed and an amazing bathroom with a fantastic large walk in shower. Definitely 5 star accommodation. Jeane was a wonderful host very accommodating and very nice, he runs an exceptional guest house. The breakfast was excellent with a great selection of fruit and cooked food. Highly recommended”

AN AMAZING OASIS IN THE KAROO
“One of the most beautiful places we’ve ever stayed. The suite was so comfortable , the bed was huge with Egyptian cotton bedding, staff so lovely and friendly. The garden was truly incredible, a surprise around every corner! Breakfast was delicious and so relaxed. We drove over the Swartberg Pass when we left…but however scary it was we would’ve driven back over it for another 2 or 3 nights at Mirtehof…”
WE ALL TRAVEL FOR DIFFERENT REASONS
“If you have been searching for pvt space, nothing but Karoo as a view, peace, super attention to detail tranquility, stunning gardens, charging your batteries etc etc etc…then stay at one of the 2 cottages, you will pass Mirtehof at your own expense. These cottages are fully Self Catering with Braai facilities. We viewed the main guest room in the house as well, The Prince Albert, stunning attention to detail, very big, pvt garden and more, will not be disappointed.”

“From the entering at Mirtehof Jeane made us feel so welcome. Everything is so beautiful, classy, cozy, and good taste. The gardens are absolutely stunning, we gave the animals food…… our breakfasts in the garden is just out of another world. This will always be our stop in Prince Albert.”
